a little book of prose-poetry ... 86

Every year
In early fall
WhimsiLanders,
One and all,
Come together
In festive wear
‘Neath Tower Clock
In market square.
Sheaves are gathered,
Nature’s bounty bestowed;
In loving reverence,
We give thanks
For God’s care.
